Will extracting audio reduce the audio quality?

Not significantly. When the source audio is already in the target format (e.g. AAC in MP4 → AAC output), FFmpeg can extract it without re-encoding — keeping the original quality byte for byte. When a format conversion is needed, our settings use high-quality bitrates.
